The House Elections Committee will meet again tomorrow, Wednesday April 1st 2009 at 8AM in Hearing Room 3. It is unclear whether or not Chairman Deeken will call HJR 9 (Photo ID) up for a vote but he has given notice of holding executive session at the hearing.
Thank you to the thousands that have called legislators and elections committee members. We know that they are receiving the calls but we can’t know until tomorrow whether or not they’re listening! Regardless, we’ll continue to keep the pressure on them not to pass out this detrimental and costly bill. Most importantly, we want to continue to hear from you!
